What is the meaning of hope?

The answer

The apostles Peter and Paul maintain that our Lord Jesus Christ is our hope (1 Tim. 1:1; 1 Pet. 1:13). Our hope is the peace of our hearts in the Lord, confident that He cares for our salvation and shepherds us in all things, large and small.
