Faith Q&A › Catechism › 12. The Holy Spirit and Divine Salvation

Is there evidence in the Holy Bible that the Spirit spoke through the prophets?

The answer

The apostle Peter says, “To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven” (1 Pet. 1:12).
