What are the fruits of true repentance?

The answer

St. Basil the Great answers, “the manner of repentance should be appropriate and worthy fruit be shown by those turning from sin through their repentance, as it is written: Bring forth fruits worthy of repentance (Luke 3:8),”¹⁴⁵⁵ which was mentioned in its own designated places (which means returning to God).¹⁴⁵⁶
