Is it true that the first person to preach in Eritrea was St. Philip, whom God instructed to evangelize to the Ethiopian Eunuch (Book of Acts)?

The answer

It was the Deacon Philip who evangelized and baptized the Ethiopian Eunuch (Holy Book of Acts), not the disciple and apostle Philip. It is believed that St. Matthew was first to evangelize Eritrea.
