The question

I would like to read about Ignatius of Antioch (he defends God’s deity); can you recommend a good read for me regarding him? I need to learn as much as I can for the reason that there are a lot of heretics out there.

Any good reads actually on the subject of God, I will like, regardless of the academic level of them.

I need to be careful where I ask questions in regard to God. That’s why I ask you.

The answer

You may find many books in English on Patrology at the St. Moses Bookstore located at the Abbey. These will be helpful for you. The books have been reviewed and may be ordered online: http://www.stmosesbookstore.org/index.php/books/english-books/patrology
