The answer
God was already sustaining the nutritional needs of the Israelites while they were in the wilderness of Sinai. They were craving meat and wanted to indulge because they were not content with His provisions of manna. God knew that the desert heat would be troubling to their digestive systems and was actually protecting them. However, because of their relentless complaints, He allowed nature to illustrate this contention. Thus, they died from a form of food poisoning (Numbers 11).Answered by His Eminence Metropolitan Youssef (opens in a new tab)
