The answer
"Fear not" is a very meaningful command frequently repeated in the Holy Bible. If God is with us, fear is casted out. Man's worst enemy is death and Christ conquered death. The parable of Lazarus and the rich man (Luke 16:19-31) illustrates a glimpse of paradise. Abraham conversed and brought things to memory while he experienced comfort in paradise. Also, Angels carried Lazarus to paradise. Food and clothing do not have the same value in heaven. The glorified body will have no need for the frivolous things that were mandatory here. Nevertheless, we will be satisfied in every way and have no need for anything. Christ will always be with us. The Lord Jesus Christ confirmed to the thief on His right while on the cross that he would be with Him in paradise on that day. If we struggle to live righteously with God during our lifetime here on earth, He will take us with Him where He is. Thus, we must strive against sin, live a life of repentance, be merciful and kind, pray, and partake of the Holy Sacraments as often as possible. Despite any hardships or tribulations, if we enjoy living with Christ here on earth, we will enjoy Him more in heaven. Knowing God now and loving Him with all your heart will give you confidence in His promises, love, and mercy.“Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom" (Luke 12:32).
