The question

I know this does not directly concern the Coptic Orthodox Church but do you have an opinion on the Ukrainian ordeal with the rift between the Greek and Russian Churches?  Any information and advice is greatly appreciated.

The answer

We are praying for peace and unity amongst all the Orthodox Churches.

"Wherever God is — there is peace. And the opposite is self-evident: where there is envy, enmity, impatience, self-love — there is the devil. Wherever the devil is — there, everything is ruinous, proud and hostile" (Anatoly of Optina, quoted from Living Without Hypocrisy: Spiritual Counsels of the Holy Elders of Optina).
