The question

I recently met someone very special, and I made it known to my family that I really have strong feelings for this gentleman. He is 19 years old and I am 20. I don't know if I should pursue someone I don't know if he has the same feelings for me. .I would greatly appreciate it if you could give me advice on what I should do and if it is appropriate to pursue this relation further, especially that my parents are encouraging me. I'm going to pray to ask for guidance from God.

Have you ever thought that this gentleman might not be interested in any relationship of any kind right now because he is very young and still has to secure his future before even considering any commitment? Many youth do not even think of getting involved seriously with any person until they are ready for marriage. I doubt that a male 19 years of age is mature and ready to pursue a lifetime commitment. You do say 'I don't know if he feels the same way about me', therefore would you like to start pursuing him and end up embarrassing yourself perhaps. My advice to you is to concentrate on your studies. Do not start any form of contact from your part, but as you said the best thing to do right now is to pray and ask for guidance from God, If it is God's will, the man will be the one to approach you at God's right time.
