The answer
At the time when St. Cyril defined the Christian faith, the many denominations that we have today did not exist. However, we consider every church who believes and adopts the Creed as their proclamation of faith, a Christian church and not a cult. This does not necessarily mean that we agree on all their other dogmas like for example the Immaculate Conception, or the purgatory, or the salvation in a moment, among many others.Answered by His Eminence Metropolitan Youssef (opens in a new tab)
