The answer
According to the Webster Dictionary, a prophecy is the inspired declaration of Divine will and purpose, a proclamation of something to come.A true prophecy would be from the true God. If we as Christians believe that Christianity is the one true religion, that our Lord Jesus Christ alone is the way to the Father (Jn 14:6), that He alone has revealed the Father (Mt 11:27; Lk 10:22) why make it an issue to look at other religions and try to prove that someone else prophesied about our Lord?. St. Paul said, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God" (2 Tim 3:16) do we believe this about any other religion?
I do not know which article you have read but I have read an article claiming that the prophecies of Buddha were about Baha'u'llah, the founder of Baha'i Faith not about Christ. It has claimed that Baha'u'llah does not just fulfill the Buddhist prophecies, but he is also the Promised One of Jews "the expected Messiah", for Christians and Muslims the awaited return of Christ, for the Hindus the Kalki Avatar, as well as being for Buddhists the Metteyya Buddha.
If you have the true Scriptures and true prophecies that were fulfilled, why look anywhere else.
