Spirituality of Priests

Faith Q&A › Metropolitan Youssef › Spiritual Life › Spirituality of Priests

The question

I have to do a report on the spiritual life of a priest for the seminary. Does Your Grace have any suggestions as to some reading I could do to help me?

The answer

Please read St. John Chrysostom on "Treatise on the Priesthood." You can find it on the internet at http://orthodox.truepath.com/articles/orthodox/saintswritings/chrysostom/.

Also read "The Priesthood" by H.H. Pope Shenouda III. These will be good readings.
