The question

Can I help one of my relatives within the tithes?

The answer

As for helping one of your relatives, it is okay to help them from your tithes as long as they are really in need. But it should be with part of your tithes not the whole amount of tithes, because it is the person's obligation to help his relatives and also the person should not favor his relatives more than the other needy. Maybe you can give the money to the church (of your relative) and ask the church to help them.
