The question

Why do things sometimes seem clear and the faith very strong, and then the next day that clear vision of God is not there. Is it because I did something that upset the Holy Spirit? Is it a test? Can we always have this clear vision of God inside us or is it just a visitation of Grace?

The answer

There is no variation in grace but it is us who sometimes get distracted from our goal and our heart wanders away from the main focus in life, our Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is always with us; but sometimes we do quench Him by not listening to Him, or as they say "put Him on the back burner" to get distracted or lose vision in giving in to the devil. If we have a daily self assessment we will soon realize where we went wrong and go back to the right path.
