The question

I have a friend of mine that does promotion for beer. I probably could help him do more sales. Should I refrain from doing that since it may be against Christian Values?

The answer

Our church does not promote drinking, period! On the contrary, she preaches abstinence from it. By promoting for beer, you are causing more people to fall into the vice of drinking. St. Paul says, "It is good neither to eat meat nor drink wine nor do anything by which your brother stumbles or is offended or is made weak" (Rom 14:21) so, if St. Paul is advising us not to drink lest others would stumble, would we go intentionally and promote a drink?
