Faith Q&A › Youth Concerns › Service

What can a servant do when they feel spiritually and emotionally drained, and no longer feel they can serve?

The answer

The Lord gives you spiritual power when you feel weak and empty. Therefore, weakness is not an excuse to stop serving; but on the contrary, the time when you feel weak is the exact moment you are in need for God, and this is the way God will utilise you. So when you feel weak, ask God for His support, and together with the Apostle Paul we can say, “when I am weak, I am strong..” (2 Corinthians 12:10). As a human you are limited, so come into contact with the Unlimited and He will give you strength.
