The answer
For simplicity it can be said that the word “Essence” means the nature that is characteristic of the being. Therefore, the Divine Essence is the nature of the Divinity (God), with all that it entails. Our God is one in essence, meaning that He is one of a kind, incomparable, transcending all creation, for He is its Creator, its Life-giver, and its Preserver.
We believe in Three Hypostases, not Three Essences, one in essence.
