What are the differences between the Orthodox and Protestant churches?

The answer

There are 7 main areas in which the Protestant Churches are lacking and so differ with the Orthodox, or Apostolic churches. They don’t believe in:

  • The seven sacraments.
  • The intercession of saints.
  • Salvation through faith and deeds.
  • Tradition.
  • Rituals.
  • the possibility that a believer may perish.
  • an apostolic chain.
